This live online course focuses on how QuickBooks is used in day-to-day business. You will practise using Sri Lankan business examples, including customer invoices, supplier transactions, VAT invoices, local chart of accounts and month-end reports.

After completing the course, you will receive a certificate from AccSoft Solutions. We have been an authorized QuickBooks partner in Sri Lanka since 1998 and have completed more than 5,000 QuickBooks installations across the country. Since we work directly with businesses that use QuickBooks, the training is based on actual accounting work rather than only theory.

Setting Up Master Files

Creating and organising the chart of accounts. Setting up customers and suppliers. Creating items (products and services) correctly.

The Sales Cycle

Creating sales orders. Raising invoices including Sri Lankan tax invoice requirements. Receiving customer payments. Issuing and settling credit notes.

The Purchase Cycle

Creating purchase orders. Recording goods received notes (GRN). Managing supplier bills and payments.

Reports Reading the Business

Profit & Loss statement. Balance Sheet. Trial Balance. Sales and debtors (receivables) reports. Purchase and payables reports. General Ledger.

By the end of Module 4 you won't just generate these reports, you'll understand what they're telling you about a business.

Do I need accounting knowledge to join?

You only need a basic understanding of terms such as invoice, supplier and ledger. During the course, we explain the accounting reason behind each transaction, so you will understand why it is entered and not only where to click.

Do I need to buy QuickBooks for the course?

No. You will practise using a training company file during the sessions. QuickBooks does not need to be purchased to attend the course. Should you later require QuickBooks for your business, we can assist you with a genuine licence.

Is the certificate recognised?

The certificate is issued by AccSoft Solutions, an authorized QuickBooks partner in Sri Lanka since 1998. Many businesses in Sri Lanka know AccSoft, and a large number of them are also our customers.

How do I pay the Rs. 5,000 course fee?

Payment can be made by bank transfer or direct bank deposit. Your seat will be confirmed once the payment is received.

What happens if I miss a session?

You may request to attend another available session.
